Two electric motors one per axle produce a combined 400PS and 696Nm of torque with permanent all-wheel drive. It reaches 60mph in 4.5 seconds. The 90kWh battery provides a WLTP range of 292 miles on a full charge. Unlike some electric cars that feel engineered around the battery, the I-PACE was designed from the ground up as an EV, which means the chassis architecture is optimised for the weight distribution two motors and a flat battery pack provide. It handles with more precision and driver feedback than most premium SUVs in its class.

Charging the Jaguar I-PACE

The I-PACE supports AC charging at up to 11kW and DC rapid charging at up to 100kW. On a 100kW DC rapid charger, it can recover around 85 miles of range in 30 minutes. The UK’s rapid charging network including BP Pulse, Pod Point and Gridserve covers all major motorway routes, so a London to Edinburgh or London to Manchester run is completely practical on a single charge with a comfort stop. On a 7kW home or hotel wallbox, an overnight charge from low will cover the following day comfortably for most use cases.
