The 488 Pista and the Ferrari 488 Spider share the same platform and engine family but are fundamentally different propositions. The 488 Spider produces 670HP from the standard twin-turbo V8 and has a retractable hardtop. The 488 Pista produces 711HP from an evolved version of the same engine, has a fixed coupe body and carries 50kg less weight than the standard 488 GTB coupe through extensive use of carbon fibre. The Pista uses a revised version of the 488’s manettino driving mode selector with a new CT Off position that gives more direct access to the electronic stability systems for experienced drivers. If you want the opentop 488 experience at 670HP, the Spider is the right choice. If you want the most extreme, track- derived road version of the 488 platform available for hire in the UK, the Pista is the car.

Every vehicle in our fleet is maintained to the highest standards to ensure safety, performance, and a flawless driving experience.
The 488 Pista is the most demanding car in the Starr Ferrari fleet to drive at its limits on road, and also one of the most rewarding. The Side Slip Control 6.0 system and the E-Diff3 electronic differential work together to allow the car to be driven with more slide and rotation than the standard 488 GTB while remaining predictable and recoverable. On open A roads through the Scottish Borders, Welsh mountains or Peak District it generates a driving experience that is directly comparable to what Ferrari’s customer racing programme produces on track. At legal road speeds and in Comfort mode it is accessible and composed. The transition between those two characters is controlled entirely by the manettino on the steering wheel.

We deliver your Ferrari 488 Pista to London Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh and Farnborough. UK-wide delivery to any address on request.
