With a whole host of celebrity gala events, special screenings and awards, the 2017 British Film Institute London Film Festival is always heavily anticipated by lovers of the big screen.

For sixty years, fans of the silver screen have been flocking to the capital city, ready to get a glimpse of their favourite star and see the best films before anybody else.

From up and coming talent to huge new releases, this is an exciting time for movie goers to have a taste of the red carpet, in a cinema trip that’s anything but ordinary. Based in central London, we offer luxury chauffeur services up and down the UK to make your evening even more memorable.

Whilst fifteen cinemas across London are officially part of the festival, showing the finest international films, the West End, Leicester Square and Southbank are the homes of the main events. With some of the biggest names in Hollywood set to attend, it’s your chance to turn this annual event into a luxury experience, with added ease and style for one night only. And what better way to embrace that experience than to hire a luxury car, complete with your own chauffeur. Starting from only £75 an hour, our experienced and professional chauffeurs can drop you to and pick you up from any LFF event, so you don’t need to worry about the hassle of parking, not being able to have a glass of champagne or walking to your car.

Can’t decide what to see? Split into eleven strands of love, debate, laugh, dare, thrill, cult, journey, create, family, experience and treasures, there is something to cover every genre.

Top of the list is the highly anticipated Battle of the Sexes, a comedy-drama with the unique and thought-provoking subject of sexism and LGBT rights. Starring Oscar nominee Emma Stone and Golden Globe winner, Steve Carell, this is set to be one of the best films of the year. With two out of three screenings sold out already, there is no better time to plan an evening of luxury travel, good company and critically acclaimed film.

If comedy’s not for you, first time director Andy Serkis launches the opening gala with the emotional and compelling Breathe. Based on a true story, the film features soul-mates who ignore the medical advice of doctors and continue to live life freely, even main character Robin Cavendish contracts polio at the age of 28. Based on a real-life couple who changed the stigma of disability and illness, the film has so far had positive reviews from critics. With tickets being released on 28th September, and the screening taking place in Leicester Square on 4th October, there is plenty of time to plan your evening around this Hollywood gem.

Finally, the London Film Festival closes on Sunday 15th October this year with Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Misouri; a dark comedy drama directed by Martin McDonagh.

The story features a grieving mother, fed up with the lack of effort put in by the police force investigating her daughter’s murder. With American, BAFTA nominated actress Frances McDormand starring and both her and McDonagh expected to attend, the closing gala is far too good to miss.

Showing in Leicester Square and Embankment, tickets are released on 28th September so if you’re lucky enough to land yourself with some, make sure you plan your whole experience in advance, for a show-stopping night.
