SIRIUS MEMBERS CLUB TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Welcome to Starr Luxury Cars, Sirius exclusively limited to 20 members at any one time. To ensure that our members receive maximum enjoyment from the Club, we have certain Terms & Conditions of Membership:
Self-drive hire with Sirius
Cars can be booked as far in advance or as last minute as required.
To cancel a booking, the member must give written notice (via Email) to: Sales@starrluxurycars.com. The number of Annual Days of Car hire will not be refunded for bookings cancelled within 48 hours of the intended start date of a booking, unless agreed prior to the cancellation of booking.
The minimum hire period is 2 days and the actual mileage allowance will be dictated by Starr Luxury Cars.
Starr Luxury Cars, Sirius will endeavour to ensure the cars are ready for the agreed hire start time, subject always to events which are beyond the reasonable control of Starr Luxury Cars, Sirius.
Members can book multiple cars at the same time should they wish. In these instances, the members allowance will be deducted for the days hired on each car.
In the event that a member requests a car to be delivered, or collected from a certain address, Starr Luxury Cars will use reasonable endeavours to ensure the request is completed by the requested time, however no guarantees are given. Delivery/collection will be free within 5-mile radius of the centre point of the city of which the hire is taken place in, locations beyond the 5 miles radius will be subject to being chargeable.
The hirer will remain liable for the vehicle until a member of Starr Luxury Cars has inspected the vehicle and accepted delivery of the vehicle, members will indemnify the Company against all fines, penalties and liabilities imposed on the Company or arising in respect of any non-compliance or contravention of any transport, traffic or other law or regulation, together with any cost or expense relating thereto incurred by the Company
The hirer will indemnify the company of any costs associated resulting from a recovery when the vehicle has been driven in such a way to cause the vehicle to remain stuck or in any other way immobilised
Starr Luxury Cars delivery staff must hand over cars in person to a member, unless agreed otherwise in advance. If this is not possible, unless agreed in advance, the car will not be delivered. Members will be liable for any costs accrued.
Members are required to sign a document which confirms the condition of the car and that the car is without apparent defect unless otherwise stated. The member agrees to return the car (and all ancillaries) in the same condition at the location, time and date agreed previously with Starr Luxury Cars. Any discrepancies or damage or loss will be charged to the member.
Starr Luxury Cars reserves the right to demand the return of a car at any time.
Use of any Starr Luxury Cars vehicles are subject to the terms of our insurance.
Starr Luxury Cars recharge certain expenses to members in relation to costs incurred by members. These include but are not restricted to the following:
fuel costs;
repair costs (labour, parts, materials and administration costs);
parking fines and penalties;
speeding fines and penalties;
delivery and collection charges;
congestion-type charges and penalties;
insurance excesses;
additional mileage charges;
theft, damage or loss of any parts from the cars;
administration charges.
Where a member adds an Additional Driver(s) to their hire, the main member retains overall responsibility for any costs incurred by their Additional Driver(s)
Upon joining the chosen Sirius membership, payment must be made in full, or a payment plan must be actioned within 7 days of your application approval date. Starr Luxury Cars reserve the right to cancel your application at any time after the 7 days of the approval date if full payment or a payment plan has not been actioned.
Memberships can be paid in full via Credit or Debit cards, Payment plans are as follows – 10% deposits of the membership of choice followed by 3 or 6 calendar month payments via direct debit.
Members shall ensure that throughout the period of membership that they notify Starr Luxury Cars in writing of:
any change in address or contact details within seven days of the change, or before they next use a Starr Luxury car vehicle, whichever is sooner;
any road traffic accident or insurance claim irrespective of blame during the period of their membership whether committed in Starr Luxury car vehicle or not, within seven days of the incident (immediately in cases of incidents in Starr Luxury car vehicle), or before they next use an Starr Luxury car vehicle, whichever is sooner;
any road traffic offence whether committed in Starr Luxury Cars vehicle or not within seven days of receiving notification, or before the next use an Starr Luxury Cars vehicle, whichever is sooner; and
any changes to their driving licence status, within seven days of the change, or before they next use Starr Luxury Cars vehicle, whichever is sooner.
Membership last the period of 12 months from the date of joining.
Memberships can simply be terminated by giving Starr Luxury Cars a 30 days written notice. No refunds will be given for any unredeemed Use of the membership, any unpaid invoices will become due.
In the case of any member being in breach of our Terms & Conditions acting in any manner inconsistent with the good reputation of Starr Luxury Cars, then Starr Luxury Cars may in its absolute discretion terminate the membership of a member forthwith. Such member shall not be entitled to any compensation or refund whatsoever.
Where a member is banned from driving or convicted of dangerous driving or is ordered to serve a custodial sentence for any criminal offence or has a claims history which Starr Luxury Cars insurers are unwilling to accept, then Starr Luxury Cars reserves the right to terminate the membership of that member. In such circumstances no refunds will be issued by Starr Luxury Cars.
Starr Luxury Cars reserves the right at any time during membership to complete driving licence checks, insurance history checks and other checks to ensure the risk pro le of a member is as stated by the member at the time of membership, or is as the latest update a member has given to Starr Luxury Cars. In the case of any aspect of a member’s history being incorrectly stated by a member, Starr Luxury Cars reserves the right to take action up to and including terminating a member’s membership without any refund or compensation whatsoever..
Members Annual Days of Car hire cannot be transferred to another member.
Starr Luxury Cars reserves the right to change any of the Terms and Conditions of membership, mileage charges. If any changes are made members will be informed before their next car booking or within 30 days whichever is sooner.
The member shall not be entitled to assign his/her right or obligations under this membership agreement.
Starr Luxury Cars shall be entitled to assign its rights and/or obligations under this agreement.
Nothing in this agreement shall give any person who is not a party to it any rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
If any provision of this agreement (or part of any provision) is found by any court or other authority of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision or part-provision shall, to the extent required, be deemed not to form part of this agreement, and the validity and enforceability of the other provisions of this agreement shall not be affected. If a provision of this agreement (or part of any provision) is found illegal, invalid or unenforceable, the provision shall apply with the minimum modification necessary to make it legal, valid and enforceable.
This agreement constitutes the whole agreement between the parties and supersedes all previous agreements between the parties relating to its subject matter. Each party acknowledges that, in entering into this agreement, it has not relied on, and shall have no right or remedy in respect of, any statement, representation, assurance or warranty (whether made negligently or innocently) other than as expressly set out in this agreement.
This agreement is personal to a Member and may not be assigned by a Member in any circumstances. Starr Luxury Cars may assign the benefit of this agreement to any third person in connection with a reorganisation of it or any member of its group or in connection with a disposal of the whole or a part of its business and assets.
Nothing in this agreement shall limit the liability of either party in the case of fraud.
A person who is not a party to this membership agreement shall not have the right to enforce any term or terms of this agreement pursuant to the Contract (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
These terms of membership shall at all times be governed and construed in accordance with English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
Chauffeur service with Sirius
All parking and entrance are chargeable at costs, Tolls and congestion zones are included.
Your booking charge may be subject to additional waiting time and car park.
For Sirius members all cancellations must be prior to 48 hours before booking time else 100% deductible from your chauffeur allowance .
All hiring starts from the exact pick up point to the exact destination entered only..
Starr Luxury Cars, Sirius accepts no responsibilities for any loss or damage to any property or luggage carried in the vehicle however such loss occurs.
Starr Luxury Cars, Sirius accept no responsibility for bodily injury or death or sickness to the signatory of the invoice payer contract or any other person aboard.
Starr Luxury Cars, Sirius will endeavour to provide the vehicle you request. However, in the unlikely event that we are unable to do so, we reserve the right to provide a substitute vehicle of similar type and capacity. You will be informed of this.
Starr Luxury Cars, Sirius may increase charges on bank holidays and other occasions and shall inform all concerned of such charges in advance.
Any bookings made for the 24, 25, 26, 31 December and January 1st may attract an additional charge of 100% on prices published and quoted by other communication methods.You will be informed of any surcharges before your hire is confirmed.
Bookings
Starr Luxury Cars, Sirius will require the lead names of client they are driving.
Any quotation provided by Starr Luxury Cars is not a confirmed booking until the applicant has confirmed the booking with Starr Luxury Cars via email to: Sales@starrluxurycars.com or via Phone 0203 600 1631
Payments
If there are any additional changes or variations including extra mileage to the journey other than what was agreed at the time of booking, the clientele be charged extra in accordance with the pricing structure on our website (e.g. extra mileage, hourly rate & Waiting time).
Upon mutual agreement of charges for services to be provided please note the following:
payment shall be required 24 hours prior to travel date by bank transfer, credit or debit card.
Any changes to the original agreement shall be charged accordingly.
As Directed / Journeys Over 50 Miles
Bookings for A.D (as directed) include multiple stops and waiting time, (Allowing 10 miles per hour only). The usage of the car is restricted to a 10-mile radius from pick-up location. Any mileage thereafter is may be charged at an additional per mile rate (please request quote before journey). Airport transfers are not normally included in the A.D (as directed) hire and are charged in addition to the standard rate.
Any bookings with a total driving distance of over 50 miles will be subject to a bespoke quote and a booking will only become confirmed once Starr Luxury Cars, Sirius have confirmed with the member.
No Shows
If the client does not appear at the time and place designated at the pickup point, the deduction of the journey will be deducted from the members chauffeur allowance.
Airport Transfers
If your flight is delayed, you should make immediate contact with Starr Luxury Cars to notify us, so that we can adjust our schedules and rearrange drivers. We allow a waiting time of 30 minutes for domestic flights and 45 minutes for international landings free of charge.

Our meet and greet system will ensure that your chauffeur will be waiting for you as soon as you enter the arrivals terminal or a meeting point agreed at the time of booking. Your chauffeur will be holding up a name board with your name on it along with your name and Starr Luxury Cars logo
We will endeavour to accommodate delayed flights times, but cannot be held liable should circumstances prevent us from being able to respond to any changes.
Starr Luxury Cars shall not allow under any circumstance luggage i.e. suitcases and such to be placed inside the vehicle.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that any children or passengers under the height of 4’6″ are secured within a booster seat or protective child seat as appropriate. (please note there is an additional charge of £20.00 for the supply of a child seat).
Alter Terms & Condition
Starr Luxury Cars reserves the right to alter or vary ‘Terms & Conditions’ at its absolute discretion upon giving reasonable notice to the Client and without prejudice to the generality or the aforesaid Starr Luxury Cars reserves the right to change tariff charges.
No representations or variations in or additions to these ‘Terms & Conditions’ or warranty given by any person acting or purporting to act on behalf of Starr Luxury Cars shall have any force or effect whatsoever unless confirmed in writing by an authorised representative of Starr Luxury Cars
Nothing contained in these terms and conditions can affect the Client’s’ statutory rights.-48
